This handsome chest is adorned with a kylix-shaped urn that copies detail from a Baltimore demilune sideboard table circa 1800. Chest's name pays tribute to the 17th century Virginia silver collector William Fitzhugh, who outfitted his plantation house with a "handsome cupboard of plate" as sterling was called back then. The piece holds up to 150 pieces, with sideboard knife slots accommodating scimitar blades.
