Who's better at shredding the guitar? Find out as you battle legends of rock right in your living room! Jam with Tom Morello, Slash, Bret Michaels, Johnny Napalm, Judy Nails, Axel Steel, Izzy Sparks, Casey Lynch, Lars Ümlaüt and Xavier Stone. During play, hit notes on the guitar as you see them scroll toward the bottom of the TV screen. When you're good or great, you'll maintain performance and score points. And if you're awesome, you'll get to Star Power, increasing the performance meter. Play in three modes:
- Career: Play solo and unlock new songs as you play. Features eight tiers with 42 songs. Battle a boss, earn in-game money, unlock new characters, outfits, guitars, bonus songs and videos.
- Co-op career: Play with another player on the same console, where someone plays lead guitar and the other takes rhythm or bass. Six tiers of songs.
- Battle: Play with another player either on the same console or connect online with the Wi-Fi Connection. Duke it out and "attack" the other by way of song.
- What's in the box: Legends of Rock game, a new wireless guitar with customizable faceplates, adjustable strap and sticker sheet
