Supplier Diversity statement
The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc., founded in 1898, is one of the largest regional department store operators in the United States, offering a broad assortment of national and private brand fashion apparel and accessories for women, men and children, as well as cosmetics and home furnishings.
At Bon-Ton, we believe that our success as an organization is impacted by the rich diversity of talents, values and skills of our associates and business partners. We believe we reap the benefits of a diverse workforce by recognizing our differences and reinforcing that when we respect individuals for who they are, we foster a culture of inclusion and creativity leading to improved productivity and mutual success.
The Bon-Ton recognizes that responsible corporations should seek to build a supplier base that is representative of the diverse nature of the communities we serve. By providing opportunities to a supplier base as diverse as the communities we share, we leverage the unique talents and skills of a diverse supplier base to better serve our customers, associates, and communities.
The Bon-Ton is committed to forming partnerships with diverse businesses and member organizations with certified minority- and women-owned business enterprises to strengthen our supply chain through diversity and encourage economic empowerment. We will accept certification from any of these agencies: WBENC, NMSDC and NWBOC.
